Raggedy Ann Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 qt. sliced cucumbers
    3 green peppers (mangos)
    1 red firm mango
    4 onions, sliced
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. turmeric
    1 tsp. celery seed
    3 c. sugar
    2 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Combine sugar, vinegar and spices.
    Mix until sugar dissolves. Place vegetables in pan and mix thoroughly.
    Pour sugar mixture over vegetables and bring to a boil.
    Stir and put in jars and seal at once.
    Do not boil over 2 minutes for firmness.
