Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 1/4 c. corn meal
1 Tbsp. chopped onion
1 c. milk
3 Tbsp. flour
1 egg
3 Tbsp. Wesson oil

Preparation

Combine meal, flour and onion.
Add egg and sugar.
Gradually stir in milk.
Drop from spoon into fat; fry until golden.
Makes 3 dozen.
