Red Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 Tbsp. Nestle Quik chocolate
4 1/2 oz. red food coloring
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs
2 1/4 c. cake flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. buttermilk
1 Tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation

Mix first 2 ingredients.
Set aside.
Cream sugar, shortening and eggs.
Add red food coloring mixture.
Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
Add by hand the vinegar and baking soda.
Line 2 round cake pans with wax paper (bottoms, grease well).
Pour in batter.
Bake at 350\u00b0 until toothpick comes out clean.
