Ritzy Onion Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 lb. onions
    1 c. margarine, softened (2 sticks)
    1 lb. Old English cheese, grated
    1/2 box Ritz crackers, crushed
Preparation
    Peel and slice onions.
    Put into cold water and bring to a boil. Drain.
    Add more water and salt; cook until transparent. Drain.
    Place onions and butter in casserole and cool.
    Add cheese and sprinkle crackers over top. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Serves 6.
