Ranch House Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. lean stew beef meat
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. hot water
    1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce with onions
    1 1/2 tsp. chili powder
    2 carrots, sliced
    1/2 c. sliced celery
Preparation
    Coat beef with flour and salt.
    Brown in oil in skillet.
    Add water and tomato sauce with onion.
    Cover and simmer 1 1/2 hours. Add carrots and celery, simmer 1/2 hour or until vegetables are done and meat is tender.
