Yeast Dinner Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. milk
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 pkg. yeast
    1/2 c. warm water
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    2 tsp. salt
    7 c. flour
Preparation
    Scald milk and pour into large mixing bowl with cover.
    Add sugar and shortening.
    Let cool until warm (about like milk for a baby).
    Dissolve yeast in warm water and add to milk mixture.
    Add 4 cups flour and beat well.
    (This will be thin.)
    Let rise until double in bulk (about an hour).
    Stir in baking powder, soda, salt and enough flour to make a stiff dough.
    Cover and put in refrigerator until cold or next day.
    Make in rolls and let rise until double.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 about 15 minutes, depending on oven. This dough will keep 2 or 3 days in refrigerator.
