Bacon Stuffed Burgers - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 slices bacon, fried crisp
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 lb. pork sausage
1 c. grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
2 Tbsp. steak sauce
Preparation

Fry bacon crisp.
Saute onion in 2 tablespoons bacon drippings.
Drain and chop mushrooms.
Crumble bacon. Add with onion and mushrooms; set aside.
Combine beef, sausage, cheese, pepper, garlic powder and steak sauce.
Shape into thin patties. Put bacon mixture on half of patties, then put another patty on top and seal real good around edges.
Cook over medium heat until well done.
Serve on buns.
