Butterscotch Crackles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 c. regular sugar
    2 sticks margarine, melted
    1 egg (unbeaten)
    2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
    2 1/2 c. plain flour
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cream together sugars and margarine; add egg and vanilla.
    Set aside.
    Sift together flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt and add nuts.
    Add to first mixture.
    Roll into balls and roll in sugars (don't flatten).
    Bake on greased cookie sheet at 325\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
    These cookies will be flat and cracked.
