Sausage Skillet Supper - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. smoked sausage, cut into chunks or 1 (1 lb.) pkg. little Smokies
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of celery soup
    3/4 c. water
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen English peas
    1 (2 1/2 oz.) can sliced mushrooms
    1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    3/4 c. converted rice
Preparation
    Combine the sausage, rice, soup, water and butter in a large skillet on medium heat.
    Cover and bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes.
    Stir in peas and mushrooms.
    Simmer, covered, for approximately 20 minutes, or until rice is cooked.
    Sprinkle with cheese; simmer, covered, until the cheese is melted.
    Yields 4 servings.
