Harvest Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    3/4 c. shortening
    4 eggs
    1 (6 oz.) can frozen orange juice, thawed
    3 1/2 c. sifted flour
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. soda
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. allspice
    1/2 tsp. ground cloves
    1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
    2 c. mashed pumpkin or yams
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Beat in eggs, one at a time.
    Add pumpkin (yams) and orange juice.
    Sift together dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture.
    Stir in nuts.
    Bake in 2 loaf pans at 350\u00b0 until done.
