Shoney Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 c. water
3 or 4 tsp. cornstarch
5 Tbsp. red jello
1 qt. sliced strawberries

Preparation

Mix water and cornstarch.
Stir over medium heat until bubbly. Sprinkle jello powder and sugar into mixture.
Stir well.
Cool. Add berries and put into baked pie shell.
Top with whipped cream.
