Banana Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large bananas
    1/3 c. shortening
    3/4 c. light brown sugar
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 c. milk
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mash bananas to make 1 cup.
    Cream shortening with light brown sugar.
    Add well-beaten eggs and the mashed bananas.
    Sift flour with salt and soda.
    Add to the creamed mixture alternately with milk.
    Stir in chopped walnuts.
