10 Pound Fruitcake - cooking recipe

1 lb. Brazil nuts
1 lb. mixed fruit
2 boxes coconut
1/2 lb. butter
5 eggs
2 c. sugar
1 lb. English walnuts
1 qt. pecans
2 boxes raisins
4 c. flour
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Preheat oven to 300\u00b0.
Mix sugar, eggs, butter and milk well. Roll nuts in 1 cup of flour, then add to creamed mixture.
Pour batter into Dutch oven and tie waxed paper over top.
Put Dutch oven into dishpan with water and boil for 2 hours.
Then put in oven and bake for 30 minutes at 300\u00b0.
Half all ingredients if you want a 5 pound cake.
