Zucchini Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 medium sized squash, grated
    1 large onion, grated or chopped
    2 Tbsp. pickling spices
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Mix salt and water mixture.
    Let set overnight or 6 to 8 hours over zucchini.
    Mix vinegar, pickling spice and sugar.
    Tie spice in a cloth and bring last 3 ingredients to a boil for 5 minutes. Remove spice bag; add squash.
    Bring to a boil.
    Place in sterilized jars and seal.
