Lemon Steak Surprise - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. round steak
    1 can condensed tomato soup
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 green pepper, sliced
    1 clove garlic, minced
    2 Tbsp. water
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    dash of black pepper
    1/4 c. flour
    1 onion, sliced
    3 Tbsp. bottled lemon juice
Preparation
    Combine flour, salt and pepper.
    Cover steak with mixture. Using large skillet, brown steak on both sides in shortening.
    Add lemon juice, water and remaining ingredients.
    Cover, cook over low heat, about 45 minutes or until steak is tender.
    Stir often. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
