Pecan Sandies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1/3 c. sugar
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar; add water and vanilla.
    Mix well; blend in flour and nuts.
    Chill 3 hours.
    Shape in balls or fingers.
    Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 325\u00b0 for 20 minutes. Remove from pan; cool slightly.
    Roll in 10x sugar.
