Egg Custard - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/3 tsp. salt
    3/4 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. scalded milk
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    3 eggs or 6 yolks
    1 unbaked (9-inch) pie shell
Preparation
    Beat eggs well.
    Mix all other ingredients together.
    Makes 1 (9-inch) pie.
    Cook at 450\u00b0 for 15 minutes; then 350\u00b0 until done, about 10 minutes.
