Meat Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    3/4 c. Quaker oats (quick or old fashioned)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1 (1 5/8 oz.) cream of mushroom dry soup mix
    1 egg, beaten
    3/4 c. milk
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients thoroughly; pack firmly into an 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 1/2-inch loaf pan.
    Bake in preheated moderate oven at 350\u00b0 for about 1 1/4 hours.
    Let stand 5 minutes before slicing. Makes 8 servings.
