Italian Style Brazzoli - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. beef round steak, cut in 1/2-inch cubes
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. dried parsley flakes
    1 tsp. leaf basil
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 garlic clove, finely chopped
    1 c. water
    1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
    1 c. raisins
    hot cooked spaghetti
Preparation
    Place meat in 1 1/2-quart glass casserole.
    Cover with lid or plastic wrap.
    Put in microwave on High for 6 minutes.
    Drain. Stir in parsley, salt, basil, pepper, garlic and water; re-cover. Put microwave on simmer for 20 minutes.
    Stir in remaining ingredients, except spaghetti.
    Re-cover and continue cooking on simmer for 15 to 20 minutes or until meat is fork-tender.
    Let stand, covered, 5 minutes before serving.
    Serve over spaghetti. Can substitute noodles for spaghetti.
    Serves 4 to 6.
