Betty'S Chili Bean Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 cup fat or salad oil
    3/4 cup sliced onions
    1 lb ground beef
    1 cup thinly sliced celery
    1 tbsp paprika
    1/4 tsp allspice
    1 can condensed tomato soup
    1 (1 lb 4 oz.) can kidney beans (drained)
    2 tsp garlic salt
    1 to 1 1/2 tbsp chili powder
    1/2 cup grated american cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Melt the fat in a large skillet.
    Add onions and saute until tender and golden brown, add ground meat, brown lightly.
    Add the rest of the ingredients except for the cheese.
    With a 2 tined fork (to avoid breaking the beans) stir until blended.
    Pour into a greased 1 1/2 qt casserole.
    Sprinkle grated cheese over the top and bake in a 325 degree oven for 30 minutes.
