Fannie Wilson'S Mahogany Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2/3 c. oleo
2 c. sugar
3 egg yolks
4 level tsp. cocoa in 4 Tbsp. hot water
2/3 c. milk
2 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
4 egg whites, beaten stiff (save extra yolk for frosting)
1 box plus 1 c. confectioners sugar, sifted
2/3 c. oleo
1 egg yolk, mixed with 2 level tsp. cocoa and 3 Tbsp. hot coffee
1 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix well.
Spread between layers and on top of cake.
