Microwave Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. corn syrup
    1 3/4 to 2 c. unsalted dry roasted peanuts
    1 tsp. butter or margarine
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Generously grease large baking sheet; set aside.
    Combine sugar and corn syrup in 2-quart glass measure.
    Cook on High 4 minutes.
    Stir in peanuts with wooden spoon.
    Cook on High 4 minutes.
    Stir in butter and vanilla.
    Cook on High 2 minutes. Add baking soda; stir until mixture is light and foamy.
    Pour onto prepared baking sheet.
    Spread quickly to edges.
    Cool completely before breaking into pieces.
