Homemade Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. warm water (not hot)
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    2 Tbsp. Crisco or butter
    2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    3 c. sifted flour
Preparation
    Add yeast and warm water in bowl.
    Add Crisco or butter, salt, sugar and 1/2 cup flour.
    Beat 2 minutes at medium speed with mixer.
    Add rest of flour and blend with spoon until nice and smooth.
    Cover with cloth and let rise in warm place for about 30 minutes.
    Knead 25 strokes and spread even in greased loaf pan. Pat in shape with back of hand.
    Let rise.
    Put in oven at 375\u00b0 until brown, 40 to 45 minutes.
