Chili Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 bushel tomatoes, peeled and cut into pieces
    3 lb. chopped onions
    1 large clover, per quart
    2 hot peppers
    2 tsp. basil
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. salt
    garlic to taste
Preparation
    Bring all ingredients to good boil; put in quart jars with large clove on top, then seal.
    Great for spaghetti sauce or add beans for chili.
