Cooked Apples - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. apples
    1 1/2 c. water
    2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Peel and halve apples, enough to cover a 4 quart saucepan. Add water and sugar.
    Let boil 2 1/2 minutes covered.
    Reduce heat and let simmer until soft.
