Scalloped Onions With Cheese - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 onions, sliced (4 c.)
3 Tbsp. butter
3 Tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
pepper to taste
Preparation

Cook onions in boiling water until tender.
Drain well.
Place onions in 1-quart casserole dish.
Melt butter in saucepan.
Blend in flour and salt.
Add milk and cook over medium heat until mixture boils.
Stir in cheese and pepper.
Stir until cheese is melted.
Pour sauce over onions.
Bake uncovered at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
Serves 4 to 6.
