Cornbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. self-rising flour
3/4 c. meal
1 1/2 c. buttermilk
3 to 4 Tbsp. bacon drippings
Preparation

Preheat oven to 450\u00b0.
Put flour and meal in mixing bowl.
Put drippings in an iron skillet and heat in oven while you mix the buttermilk with flour and meal.
Pour 2 to 3 tablespoons of drippings in the flour mixture.
Mix well.
Bake until bottom is brown, then turn to broil to brown top.
