Chicken And Dumplings - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 (1/2) chicken breasts, skin removed
1 medium onion, chopped
2 stalks celery, chopped
1 Tbsp. sage
1 large can chicken broth
3 chicken bouillon cubes
3 Tbsp. butter
1 or 2 cans Pillsbury biscuits
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

In large pan put washed chicken.
Cover with water.
Add onion, celery and sage.
Boil until chicken is tender.
Remove and set aside.
Add can of chicken broth, bouillon cubes and butter to water in pan.
Roll out biscuits thinly on floured board.
Cut into slices.
Add to boiling broth.
Turn heat to medium.
Debone chicken and add to pan in pieces.
Cook about 15 or 20 minutes. One can of biscuits will feed 4; two cans will feed a crowd.
