Asparagus Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 loaf white sandwich bread
    8 oz. cream cheese, softened
    8 slices cooked and crumbled bacon
    1 Tbsp. lemon zest
    melted butter
    1 can asparagus spears or cooked fresh asparagus
Preparation
    Remove crust and flatten bread.
    In a medium bowl, mix cream cheese, bacon and lemon zest.
    Spread mixture on bread.
    Place asparagus spear (cut to bread size) on bread and roll.
    Brush with melted butter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes, until toasted.
    They can be cut in half to serve more people.
