Herb Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
2/3 c. milk
1/2 tsp. parsley
1/2 tsp. dill
1/2 tsp. caraway seed
Preparation

Stir together thoroughly all of the dry ingredients.
Cut in shortening until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Make a well in center; add milk all at once.
Stir just until dough clings together.
Knead gently on lightly floured surface.
Roll out. Dip 2 1/2 inch biscuit-cutter in flour.
Cut dough straight down. Bake on ungreased baking sheet at 450\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
