Chocolate-Coconut Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. butter Crisco
    1 1/4 c. brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. milk
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    1 egg
    1 3/4 c. flour
    3/4 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. mini morsels (chocolate chips)
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1/2 c. flaked coconut or finely chopped peeled apple
Preparation
    Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Combine shortening, sugar, milk, vanilla and egg.
    Beat well.
    Combine flour, baking soda and salt.
    Sift and stir into shortening mixture.
    Stir in chocolate chips, nuts and coconut or apple.
    Drop from spoon onto greased baking sheet. The secret of success is to bake cookies only until outside edges begin to turn brown, 6 to 8 minutes.
    Remove from oven and allow to finish baking on sheet a couple minutes before moving cookies to rack to cool.
