Chicken Fricassee - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium onion, thinly sliced and separated
    1 1/2 c. hot water
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 bay leaf
    2 1/2 to 3 lb. chicken, cut up
    3 Tbsp. margarine or butter
    1/4 c. all-purpose flour
    2 tsp. dried parsley flakes
    1 tsp. paprika
    1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Mix onion, water, salt, pepper and bay leaf in 5-quart saucepan.
    Add chicken pieces, cover for 30 to 40 minutes.
    Remove chicken from liquid.
    Melt butter and stir in flour, parsley flakes and paprika.
    Blend in reserved liquid and milk until smooth.
