Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs (unbeaten)
    1 1/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 c. rolled oats (uncooked)
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cream shortening, sugars, vanilla and eggs in mixing bowl; beat thoroughly.
    Sift flour with soda, salt and cinnamon; add to cream mixture and mix thoroughly.
    Fold in rolled oats and pecans. Drop by teaspoons onto greased cookie sheet; flatten if desired. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
    Cool about 2 minutes before removing from baking sheet.
