Ingredients

2 c. water
1 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. finely grated lemon peel
1 c. lemon juice
Preparation

Heat water and sugar to boiling in pan; reduce heat.
Simmer uncovered 5 minutes; remove from heat.
Stir in lemon peel and lemon juice.
Cool to room temperature.
Pour into loaf pan (9 x 5 x 3-inch).
Freeze uncovered 3 to 4 hours, stirring every 30 minutes.
(Mixture should be broken into tiny crystals but should not be solid.)
Serve in chilled dessert dishes.
