Butterscotch Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    1 c. pecans
    1 pkg. butterscotch chips
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. oatmeal
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. hot water
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Add beaten eggs, then hot water. Add flour mixed with soda.
    Add nuts, oatmeal and vanilla, then butterscotch chips.
    Drop by teaspoon on cookie sheet and bake at 365\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
