Cranberry Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg, well beaten
    2 Tbsp. hot water
    2 Tbsp. melted butter
    1/2 c. orange juice
    1/2 c. nut meats
    1 c. raw cranberries, cut in half
Preparation
    Mix flour,
    salt, baking powder, baking soda and sugar. Add remaining
    ingredients;
    mix
    well.
    Bake
    at
    325\u00b0 for 70 minutes, or
    until\tstraw
    comes
    out
    clean.
    Butter top when done; wrap in waxed paper and put in refrigerator for at least 2 hours before using.
    Keeps several weeks.
