Gilroy Potatoes(Serves 6) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 to 1/2 c. olive oil
    6 medium potatoes, peeled and quartered
    6 to 8 bay leaves, finely crumbled
    1 tsp. dried thyme
    2 tsp. dried rosemary
    1 head unpeeled garlic cloves, separated
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Thoroughly oil a 9 x 13-inch shallow baking dish.
    Put olive oil in a small bowl and dip each piece of potato.
    Place in baking dish and sprinkle with herbs.
    Add at least 3 whole unpeeled garlic cloves for each whole potato. Drizzle remaining oil over all.
    Bake for 45 minutes.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
