Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 3/4 c. sifted flour
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream sugar and shortening.
    Add egg and mix well.
    Add sifted dry ingredients, mixing thoroughly.
    Make into balls and dip in mixture of 2 tablespoons sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon.
    Place 2-inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake in 400\u00b0 oven for 3 to 4 minutes.
