Magic Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 to 3 lb. stew beef
    3 large potatoes
    1 large onion
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/4 c. tapioca
    1 c. water
    6 carrots
    5 stalks celery
    2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 c. tomato juice
Preparation
    Clean and cut up vegetables.
    In large Dutch oven, layer first 5 ingredients.
    Combine salt, pepper, sugar and tapioca; sprinkle over vegetables.
    Combine tomato juice and water; pour over all. Cover and bake at 275\u00b0 for 4 hours.
