Ricotta Puffs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (15 oz.) Ricotta
    3 eggs
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 c. flour
    4 tsp. baking powder
    dash of salt
    1 Tbsp. brandy or rum
    shortening (for frying)
Preparation
    Combine Ricotta with beaten eggs and sugar.
    Sift flour with baking powder and salt.
    Gradually add Ricotta mixture.
    Stir in brandy.
    Let stand for 1/2 hour.
    Drop by teaspoon in hot deep fat at 375\u00b0 and brown on all sides.
    Drain on paper towels.
    Serve with dusted confectioners sugar or mix cinnamon and sugar and roll in mixture.
