Ingredients

2 c. water
2/3 c. rice
1 qt. milk
1/4 lb. butter
3 eggs
2/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
raisins (optional)
Preparation

Cook water and rice until done.
Drain.
Add milk and butter; cook 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
(Add raisins.)
Mix eggs, sugar and vanilla.
Stir into rice; cook 15 more minutes.
Let cool.
