Lattice Top Chicken Bake - cooking recipe

1 can condensed cream of chicken soup
3/4 c. milk
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. chopped, cooked chicken
1 (1 lb.) pkg. frozen broccoli, cauliflower and carrots, thawed and well drained
1 c. (4 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
1 (2.8 oz.) can Durkee fried onions
1 c. biscuit mix
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/4 c. milk
Preparation

Combine soup, milk, salt, chicken, vegetables, 1/2 cup cheese and 1/2 can onions.
Spread mixture into greased 8 x 12-inch baking dish.
Bake uncovered at 375\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, combine biscuit mix, egg and milk to form a soft dough.
Spoon in lattice design over hot chicken mixture.
Bake uncovered at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes or until biscuits are golden.
Top lattice with remaining cheese and onions and bake 3 to 5 minutes longer until cheese melts and onions are lightly browned.
