Apple Pudding Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/4 c. oleo
1 c. sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 c. flour, sifted
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
2 c. apples (preferably Jonathan)
1/2 c. nuts, chopped (optional)

Preparation

Cream together oleo and sugar.
Add beaten egg and then add sifted flour, baking soda, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Mix.
Add chopped apples and nuts.
Continue beating after apples are added and when well mixed.
Place in buttered pie plate and bake at 325\u00b0 for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
Serve plain or with whipped cream or ice cream.
