Silver White Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 c. flour
    1 2/3 c. sugar
    3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/4 c. milk
    2/3 c. shortening
    1 tsp. vanilla
    5 egg whites
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease and flour 3 round 9-inch pans. Sift flour, sugar, baking powder and salt into large bowl.
    Add milk, shortening and vanilla.
    Beat at low speed on mixer 30 seconds.
    Turning mixer on high, beat 2 minutes, scraping bowl constantly, or until batter is smooth.
    Pour batter into pans and bake 30 to 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
    Cool 10 or 15 minutes before turning out to cool.
