Chocolate Turtle Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 1/2 c. water
1/2 c. oil
1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk (Eagle Brand)
1 c. chopped pecans
1 lb. caramels
Preparation

Combine chocolate cake mix, butter, water, oil and 1/2 can of condensed milk in mixing bowl.
Mix well.
Pour 1/2 of batter into greased and floured 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
Melt and mix caramels with remaining condensed milk over low heat until smooth.
Spread over baked layer. Sprinkle with pecans.
Cover with remaining cake batter.
Bake 25 to 35 minutes longer or until cake tests done.
Cool.
