Pineapple Beets - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. pineapple juice
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. oleo
    1 (No. 303) can diced beets
    1/2 c. crushed pineapple
Preparation
    Mix cornstarch and sugar.
    Combine with a small amount of juice until it is smooth.
    Add remaining juice and vinegar. Place in double boiler.
    Cook until thick and clear, about 8 minutes.
    Add oleo and crushed pineapple.
    Drain beets.
    Add to other ingredients.
    Serves 6 to 8.
