Carolyn'S Crumb Crust Apple Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sliced apples
    1/3 c. (5 Tbsp.) butter (room temperature)
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. water
    1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Butter baking dish or pie plate.
    Put in sliced apples and pour water over them.
    Sprinkle on cinnamon. Work together sugar, flour and butter until crumbly.
    Spread over apples mixture and bake slowly, uncovered, 1 hour or until apples are tender.
    Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
