Coconut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    3 c. flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. milk
    1 c. shredded coconut
    1 tsp. vanilla
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Add eggs one at a time.
    Add baking powder, flour and milk alternately until all is used.
    Add coconut and vanilla.
    Bake in 2 (9-inch) round pans or 9 x 13-inch long pan for 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Serves 20.
