Freezer Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 lb. cabbage, shredded
    3 Tbsp. salt (non-iodized)
    2 stems chopped celery
    2 bell peppers, chopped
    5 1/2 c. sugar
    2 c. water
    2 1/2 c. white vinegar
    1 Tbsp. celery seed
    1 Tbsp. whole mustard seed
Preparation
    Sprinkle cabbage with salt.
    Let stand 1 hour.
    Add celery and green peppers; let stand 20 minutes longer.
    Drain well.
    Combine sugar, water, vinegar, celery seed and mustard seed.
    Bring to a good boil.
    Pour over cabbage mixture and mix well.
    Cool well. Put in freezer containers and freeze.
