Fruit Gelatin Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    11 oz. can drained mandarin oranges
    20 oz. can drained pineapple chunks
    1 c. large curd cottage cheese
    1/4 c. flaked coconut
    1/4 c. chopped pecans
    6 oz. pkg. orange flavored gelatin
    8 oz. carton frozen whipped topping, thawed
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation
    Combine oranges, pineapple, cottage cheese, Cool Whip and vanilla.
    Sprinkle gelatin over mixture and stir well.
    Spoon mixture into 13 x 9 x 2-inch dish.
    Combine pecans and coconut, sprinkle over salad.
    Chill 6 hours to overnight.
